As the race for the next Goa Chief Minister gets tougher, the rift within the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state is coming to the fore. Some MLAs have threatened to resign if Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza is not elevated after Manohar Parrikar quits as the Chief Minister to become a Union Minister.
