राम मंदिर मामले की सुनवाई टलने के बाद कुछ लोगों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के बाहर विरोध-प्रदर्शन किया. पुलिस ने बताया कि कुछ लोगों को हिरासत में लिया गया है. इस मामले पर कोर्ट में जमकर बहस हुई. मुस्लिम पक्ष के वकील राजीव धवन ने संवैधानिक पीठ के गठन और जस्टिस यूयू ललित पर सवाल उठाए थे. इस पर वकील हरीश सालवे ने ने कहा कि 1994 में मामला आपराधिक था. अब स्थिति वैसी नहीं है.

Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title dispute: A five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi is scheduled to commence the hearing on Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title dispute in Ayodhya from today, January 10, 2019. The bench also includes Justices S.A. Bobde, N.V. Ramana, U.U. Lalit and D.Y. Chandrachud.
