The demand for removal of new FTII Chief is spreading across the country and growing louder by the day. Joining the confrontation between the students and the institute, the FTII Alumni and AAP student wing have decided to demand resignation of Gajendra Chauhan. NewsX has learnt that Director Santosh Sivan, oscar winner Resul Pookutty, both Alumni of FTIi will join protests at the institute The students, so far, have said that they have kept open the channels for dialogue with I&B Ministry, but would not compromise on their basic demand of removal of Chauhan as the new Chairman of FTII's governing council.
