The review petition of 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon has sharply divided two Supreme Court judges who have asked the Chief Justice of India to take a call. While one of the judges Justice Anil Dave rejected Yakub's petition, Justice Kurien Joseph claimed that there had been a clear violation of procedure. Yakub had pleaded that the death warrant for his execution is illegal because it was issued issued when he had not quite exhausted every legal option.
