Congress leader and the leader of opposition in Goa Assembly Pratapsingh Rane termed the officials of the US-based firm Louis Berger as
"rascals" for allegedly making false allegations.
Speaking in the House, he also demanded a CBI inquiry into the bribery case allegedly involving the company and a former Goa minister.
They are making false statements. Proper inquiry needs to be done. Just calling a former chief minister to the police station is not a
good sign. He (Digambar Kamat) is a respected legislator," said Rane.
"Why they (Louis Berger officials) are not arrested? Catch hold of those rascals. We have been calling a former Chief Minister to police
station. This sort of thing should not happen," he added.
