The 5 member IPL working group met for the 1st time today in New Delhi. The 5 member group has been constituted to analyse the Lodha panel verdict & decide on a roadmap for the future of the league. The members are IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur, Sourav Ganguly of the IPL governing council, BCCI treasurer Annirudh Choudhary & the BCCI legal advisor. Sources say that the 5 member group is itself divided over the future of the Chennai Super Kings & the Rajasthan Royals. The group will meet again on the 6th & 7th of this month to decide on the roadmap for IPL season 9.
