The Sahar Police arrested Dawood's aide Riyaz Bhatti after he was caught during the immigration check before taking a flight (EY 203) to Johannesburg early on Wednesday. A look-out circular (LOC) had been issued against Bhatti in 2007 for his role in several serious criminal offences. Sources suggest that Dawood has thrown a party in Johaneshburg after Chhota Rajan's arrest and Bhatii was on the way to attend the party.
