The Gurdaspur SP who was allegedly abducted hours before the Pathankot Attack has made several claims, but some of them don't really add up. When asked why he was in civilian clothes and did not have his gunman with him, the SP claimed that he was returning after offering prayers and that was the reason he chose not to take the police escort. But the NIA has found several inconsistencies in his version and is currently probing the case. The Punjab Police, however, has given itself a clean chit already.
