With Mufti Muhammad Sayeed's sudden demise, his daughter Mehbooba Mufti is widely tipped to succeed him as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP general secretary Ram Madhav is slated to meet Mehbooba at her Srinagar residence today sparking rumours over whether the BJP is ready to back her as J&K CM. According to sources, Mehbooba may take oath as Chief Minister as soon as today as the BJP has been brought on board.
