It’s a massive twist in Rohith Vemula suicide case, Smriti irani has gotten a clean chit it seems. In a new HRD report, it has been pointed out that the university is to be blamed for 'manhandling the case'. It also says that the HRD ministry reminded and did not contribute to any pressure on the university. Students have rejected the report saying that the HRD ministry is only trying to make the vice chancellor a scapegoat.

Protests have been staged across the country demanding a strict action against all the authorities responsible for the suicide of Dalit research scholar Rohith Vemula.
