Jasprit Bumrah received a reward of his effective death over bowling on Thursday as the BCCI Committee of Administrators (CoA) included the young fast bowler in the A-plus category in the Annual Player Contracts for the period from October 2018 to September 2019. Jasprit Bumrah is only the third cricketer in the Rs 7 crore category along with captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma. Former India captain MS Dhoni, who led India to the World Cup win in 2011, has been named in the Rs 5 crore A category along with 10 other Team India players.

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) ने खिलाड़ियों का नया सेंट्रल कॉन्ट्रैक्ट जारी किया है। इसमें फॉर्म से जूझ रहे शिखर धवन और भुवनेश्वर कुमार को बड़ा झटका लगा है। उन्हें टॉप ग्रेड से बाहर कर दिया गया है, जबकि युवा विकेटकीपर ऋषभ पंत को 'ए' ग्रेड में रखा गया है। टॉप ग्रेड यानी ए+ में तीन खिलाड़ी हैं।इसमें कप्तान विराट कोहली, उपकप्तान रोहित शर्मा और तेज गेंदबाज जसप्रीत बुमराह को शामिल किया गया है। इस ग्रेड में शामिल खिलाड़ियों को 7 करोड़ रुपये सालाना मिलते हैं।
