India has sought visa-free visit of 5,000 pilgrims per day to Kartarpur Gurdwara during the first Indo-Pak delegation meet on the Attari border. India and Pakistan have agreed to work towards expeditiously operationalising the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor to facilitate the visa-free visit of Sikh pilgrims to the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. An 18 member Pakistan delegation reached India’s Attari earlier today to discuss the modalities and the draft agreement for the corridor. The next meeting between both countries will be held at Wagah in Pakistan on April 2.
