This is a NewsX exclusive. India army conducted operation 'sunrise' in North East. These were joint operations between India-Myanmar army from Feb 17 and March 2, when the world was focusing on India’s response to Pak terror post Pulwama. This is one of the large scale operations along India-Myanmar border which was split into two phases. The deployment for the operation included Special Forces of the Indian Army, Assam rifles and other infantry units.
