The Foot Overbridge near the CST Railway Station will be demolished in its entirety by today evening and the BMC has already begun preparations to carry out the operation. On the spot will be the BMC officials, along with the disaster mgmt and fire teams. Yesterday, after disaster struck near the CST railway station, BMC called in bulldozers on the spot to remove the remaining slabs of what was left of the Footover Bridge following its collapse. The act raised questions over, how the probe was going to be undertaken, if the entire structure was going to be pulled down.
