Theresa May has told MPs that she has requested a three-month delay to Brexit, postponing the UK's departure from the European Union from March 29 to June 30. The Prime Minister confirmed she sent a letter to European Council president Donald Tusk which stated she did not believe it was in either the UK's or the EU's interests for Britain to take part in European Parliament elections in May.
