Businessman G. Gnanaraja pleaded not guilty at the Shah Alam Sessions Court on Wednesday to accepting money to help resolve a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission probe.

The 38-year-old was charged with three counts of deceiving a managing director to pay him RM19mil in three transactions between July and August 2017 in return to help “settle” an ongoing MACC probe on Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd, the main contractor of the Penang undersea tunnel project.
