Jamal Crawford Is the NBA's Oldest
to Score 50 Points in a Game The 39-year-old Suns guard dropped
51 points in Phoenix's 120-109 loss
to the Mavericks. He tops a record set by NBA legend Michael Jordan in December 2001. Crawford is also the league's first
to hit the scoring milestone with
four separate teams. The 51 points on Tuesday night were just one shy of Crawford's career-high of 52, which he recorded
back in 2007 with New York. The last time he scored 50 in a game was in 2008 with Golden State. The 51-point barrage was a fitting end to
the season for Crawford, who just wrapped
up his 19th year in the NBA.
