Nearing the one-year anniversary of the first summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,... at the inter-Korean border,...Seoul will hold a commemorative event next Saturday at the Panmunjeom border village.
Special stages will be set up on the South Korean side of Panmunjeom for art and music performances.
Among them will be concerts by artists from South Korea, the U.S., Japan and China.
At this point, North Korea is not part of the planning efforts.
Seoul says it has not spoken with Pyeongyang about holding the event... and that it will notify the North (quote)"at an appropriate time."
So it's not determined yet whether North Korean officials will be taking part.
