He was trying to attack the Bharatiya Janata Party government over its failure to provide jobs but the jibe didn't land as intended. A video posted on social media shows a smiling Digvijaya Singh asking the crowds to raise their hands if they received Rs 15 lakh rupees. When a young man in the audience raised his hand, Digvijaya Singh called him to come to the stage and narrate his account of receiving the mythical sum. Sauntering on to the stage, the young man said, "Modi ji killed terrorists by doing surgical strikes.
