Tourists ran away when a wild elephant started walking towards them. The jumbo emerged from the banks of lake in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on April 20. It stomped towards the group of holidaymakers who dashed out of its path to the cover of neatby parked cars. The curious elephant continued its stroll, stomping along the road and across a car park, as tourists watched with baited breath. Filmer Tina Roongarn, 26, said: ''I told everybody in the group to get in the car so that they didn't scare the elephant. They can be unpredicatble if they are startled, but luckily this boy was very relaxed and just wanted to go for a walk.''
