Gene Watson is most famous for his signature song "Farewell Party" and his 1981 hit "Fourteen Carat Mind." During his career, he has had two number one singles and over seventy five charting singles, including twenty three top tens.

One of these was "Pick The Wildwood Flowers" which charted at number five on the US Hot Country chart in 1979.
