Gus Hardin began her rise in popularitu in country music with her first single "After The Last Goodbye" in 1983, with other hits including "Fallen Angel", "Lovin' You Hurts" and "I Pass". Hardin also won "Best New Female Vocalist" at the Academy of Country Music in 1984.
