A group of artists aimed to bring joy to Guatemala City's red light district on Saturday by painting colourful murals on the walls of the area's rundown buildings.

As well as bringing colour to this part of the city, organisers said they also wanted to create a sense of "inclusion" for residents.

Artists from Guatemala and also South America took part in the event.
