An exhibition of the female divers from the Korean island of Jeju is being held in Belgium.
The culture and evolution of the divers or haenyeo, listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO, will be showcased through photos, videos and diving materials …through June 29th at the Korean Cultural Center in Brussels.
On June 27th, divers will travel to Brussels to tell the audience about their lives.
