Sen. Marco Rubio says he is the latest victim of “deceitful” tactics used by rival Sen. Ted Cruz.
A manipulated photo shows Rubio shaking hands with President Barack Obama in front of the Capitol, on a webpage paid for by the Cruz campaign, first reported by The New York Times.
The site hits Rubio for voting to grant Obama power to negotiate trade deals. Cruz voted for it as well, before changing his position when it was up for a second vote.
Rubio adviser Todd Harris called the image a “completely invented photo.”
