Hong Kong beach volleyball duo Kelvin Lau Tsz-ho and Wong Pui-lam were hoping for Asian Games success in August 2018 when Lau was suddenly struck down by illness. The diagnosis was leukaemia, forcing them to rush home to Hong Kong to seek treatment. Lau is now recovering, and the pair say they are hoping to one day reunite on the volleyball court.
