'가족친화' 기업이 고용•실적도 '모범'…2년 새 고용 7.5%↑
So-called "family-friendly" companies in South Korea are outperforming other firms when it comes to employment, sales and profits.
The government defines such companies as those that work to prevent sexual harassment and guarantee a 40-hour work week and maternity leave.
Market tracker CEO Score studied 500 companies, of which 148 were family-friendly.
At the family-friendly ones, employee numbers last year were up 7-and-a-half percent, compared to just 4 percent at the others.
Family-friendly firms also outperformed when it came to sales and profits,... which rose by almost 13 percent and 31 percent, respectively.
