The official Toe Wrestling World Championship got off on the right foot in the village of Wetton in Staffordshire on Saturday.
Alan 'Nasty' Nash successfully defended his world title in the specially organised tournament at the local pub The Royal Oak.
Similar to arm wrestling, players link toes with each other, holding the foot flat against their opponents.
The aim is to pin your opponent for a count of three, just like in amateur wrestling.
The first game always starts with the right foot, followed by the left foot and then the right foot again if there is a tie.
