Hello Asia editor Johnny Au caught up with Billboard's chief K-Pop writer Jeff Benjamin at KCON in Los Angeles. Jeff is a renowned expert on K-Pop and the Hallyu wave. In the first part of a two part interview Jeff speaks to Johnny about his KCON experience, how he got involved in the K-Pop media business, changes he has seen in the industry over the years and how Billboard got involved in covering the K-Pop scene.
