House Approves $19 Billion Disaster Aid Bill Passage on the $19 billion relief package had
been delayed over the last couple of weeks. During that time, three GOP congressman objected to
approving the bill through the
process of unanimous consent. The legislation, which already was
passed by the Senate, now just needs
President Trump's signature. It will give aid to parts of the U.S. struck by recent natural disasters like hurricanes and flooding. What the package does not include is
border funding demanded by
Trump and Republicans.
