Chai is a real heartthrob of our nation, the real energy source of the nation 'CHAI'. Monsoon is coming and it's time to enjoy the rain with none other than chai. Anyways we don't need any specific occasion for chai, because for us anytime is a chai time. So enjoy the chai with K'shri's Kitchen.


Ingredients and Method:

Crunchy/crispy masala sticks ( mathari )
Ingredients :
whole wheat flour - 1, 1/2 bowl
all-purpose flour - 1, 1/2 bowl
Chilli powder - 1tbsp
coriander powder - 1 Tsp
salt - 1tbsp (as per taste)
cumin powder - 1 Tsp
pepper powder - 1 Tsp
chat masala - 1tbsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) - 1tbsp
oil -
Method:
Take whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, cumin, and pepper powder and mix it than by adding water as required mix well, then add 2 tbsp oil and make the dough, cover it with a wet cloth and keep it for 10-15min. then make medium size balls and make rotis as thin as possible. then cut it in long and thin strips. Now deep fry them till golden brown and once they are fried, crush Kasuri methi and chat masala and sprinkle it on the sticks mix it with light hands and serve it with tea.

Ginger tea recipe

Ingredients (for 2)

Tea powder - 1 tsp
Milk-1 cup
Water - 1cup
Sugar - 2 medium spoon
Ginger - 1 inch

Method
Take 1cup water in a saucepan, when it starts boiling grate 1inch ginger and add to boiling water, then add tea powder and sugar, let it boil then add milk let it boil for 2-3min nicely. Your refreshing ginger tea ready...!
