In a small fishing village on the island of Trinidad a young fisherman, Marcus, leads a quiet but frustrating life. A strained relationship with his father causes him to rebel in an effort to prove himself a man. His life is turned upside down when he meets a more than shady character who promises him an escape from his rural beginnings. This leads him down a dark path where an encounter makes him question his beliefs as he is confronted with a situation that may threaten his very existence.
