This was the vertigo-inducing moment a hiker from Hawaii went off trail and filmed themselves tackling a very thin and precarious ridge.

Captured in O'ahu, the tropical scenery alleviates no sense of anxiety as the confident explorer peers over the edge to what appears to be a large drop into a sea of greenery.

The filmer commented: "I have some experience hiking on these knife-edge ridges, otherwise no way I hold the camera like that."
