Spotify's New 'Your Daily Drive' Brings Together Music and Podcasts Following a test, the streamer has
officially launched the new feature. It can be found on an area in
the platform titled “Made for You." The move, a first for Spotify, is apart of
its expanding investment into
the podcast market. It is also meant to cater to users who
spend hours listening in their cars. Podcasts in "Daily Drive" will be news blasts
and come from a couple major sources. These include NPR and
'The Wall Street Journal.' In addition, the podcast order on
"Daily Drive" can be personalized. This will enhance car safety in that
listeners won't have to look for
something specific while driving. As the day goes on, the playlist
"refreshes" itself with new content.
