A group of fearless sheep were filmed gathering on a road to protect their injured friend in northwestern China.

The heartwarming clip, shot in Aksu City in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on June 8, shows around a dozen sheep standing in the middle of 502 Country Road while an injured sheep lies on the ground behind them.

According to the filmer, the sheep was hit by a vehicle and suffered injuries. It could not stand up to move away from the road.
