Trump Campaign Raises Over
$24 Million in Less Than 24 Hours Only a few hours after announcing his official
bid for re-election in Orlando, Florida, Donald
Trump has already raised $24.8 million. Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman of the Republican National
Committee (RNC), announced the news on Wednesday. Ronna McDaniel,
via Twitter The total is reportedly a combination of funds
raised by the Trump campaign and Trump Victory,
a joint fundraising arm with the RNC. The Trump campaign raised $8 million through a
phone drive and $6 million through online donations,
with the average online donation being $44. Trump’s $24.8 million is already nearly
quadruple the $6.3 million Democrat candidate
Joe Biden raised in his initial 24 hours. In comparison, Beto O’Rourke raised $6.1 million
in his first 24 hours, Bernie Sanders raised $5.9 million
and Kamala Harris raised $1.5 million.
