U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has warned Iran it should not misjudge Washington's intention of calling off a retaliatory military strike against Iran after it downed an American drone.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday, Pence said Iran should not mistake restraint for a lack of resolve, and emphasized that all options remain on the table.
While leaving the door open for dialogue, Pence emphasized Iran can never have a nuclear weapon and they should recognize that.
This comes as Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif claimed on Twitter that a different U.S. drone had breached Iranian airspace in late May despite several warnings.
The MQ-9 reconnaissance aircraft, which Tehran accuses of violating Iran's airspace, can also conduct air strikes.
