Hundreds of motorists drive through flooded roads during the morning rush hour in Bangkok today (June 24).

The Thai capital was lashed with heavy rainstorms causing long traffic jams as cars were caught in the deluge.

Footage from the south of the city in Phetkasem district shows vehicles inching their way through the 20cm deep water covering one of the main roads.
