Under the influence of cyclone Phethai, rains have started lashing isolated places in East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts. At other places, overcast sky conditions were witnessed.

India Meteorological Department in its latest cyclone bulletin said at 8 AM on Sunday, the cyclone lay centred at about 600 km south-southeast of Kakinada and was moving at the speed of 16 kmph. It is very likely to intensify further into a Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 24 Hours.
