Focuses on Health Care
and Immigration Ten Democrat contenders for president gathered in Miami for the first night
of NBC News' debates. The stage featured a diverse group of candidates including three women, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, former Obama administration housing chief Julián Castro, who is Mexican, and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, who is black. of the night. Warren called for a “fundamental change” in our economy to fix income inequality.
