Ram Gopal Varma's movie Lakshmi's NTR was awaiting clearance from the CBFC as its release before elections in Andhra Pradesh had stirred controversy across the state. After much delay, the film will finally see the day of light on May 1st, a month after its release in Telangana on March 29. Director Ram Gopal Varma who reached Vijayawada today was detained before he could address a press conference in the city. He was later asked to go back to Hyderabad.
