As we countdown to the budget, Latha Venkatesh caught up with Lucy Macdonald, CIO of global equities at Allianz Global Investors to find out what the world wants from finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Macdonald said she is noticing countries using fiscal deficits when monetary policy is constraint and that may be the case for India as well and that’s something she would not be unduly worried about.
