A newborn baby boy was found abandoned under a tree some 200m from SK Darul Hikmah, Alor Setar on Wednesday.
The baby was taken to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital for observation.
Kota Setar OCPD ACP Mohd Rozi Jidin said a report has yet to be made.
