The much anticipated tax on properties, jewellery, shares, fixed deposits (FDs), cash in bank inherited has been shunned in the Union Budget 2019 by FM Nirmala Sitharaman. The FM has proposed to increase the surcharge for those earning Rs 2-5 cr 3 per cent and for those earnings above Rs 5 cr to 7 per cent.Watch video,

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने आज बजट भाषण के दौरान मोदी सरकार की रणनीति साफ कर दीं. सरकार का पूरा फोकस अब रेवेन्यू हासिल करने पर है. इसलिए देश के अमीरों पर अतिरिक्त टैक्स (सरचार्ज) लगाने का ऐलान किया गया है. वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि अमीरों पर जो यह बोझ दिया जा रहा है वह वो आसानी से सह लेंगे.
