Clippers Are Favorites for
NBA Title After Adding
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George The Los Angeles Clippers moved from 10-1 to 11-4
to win the 2020 NBA title at Caesars Sportsbook. The Los Angeles Lakers dropped from
7-5 to 4-1 at Caesars Sportsbook. Free agent Kawhi Leonard agreed to a four-year,
$141 million contract with the Clippers on July 6. The Clippers acquired Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder for five first-round picks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari. George and Leonard wanted
to play together, and Leonard agreed to sign with the Clippers
after they traded for George. The Lakers signed free agents Danny Green,
Rajon Rondo, DeMarcus Cousins, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
after failing to land Leonard.
