문의장 "국회대표단 이달 말 방일…규제철회 결의 통보"

National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang says a parliamentary delegation will visit Japan by the end of this month,... amid the escalating trade tensions between Seoul and Tokyo.
Speaking at a press conference Friday marking his first anniversary as speaker,... Moon said there is no divide between the parties on this issue, and that the delegation will deliver a resolution calling on Japan to lift its export restrictions.
The National Assembly is expected to vote on the resolution next week.
On North Korea,... Moon said that he plans to send a delegation there too,... to support the peace drive on the peninsula following the fresh momentum sparked by the recent DMZ meeting between the leaders of the two Koreas and the U.S.
He said he will closely consult with the government and hopes for a postive response from Pyeongyang after a formal request is made.
