How to Remove Trash Icon From Desktop On Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

Step 1: Right click on the desktop. After that, click on 'open terminal.'

Step 2: Update Package Lists

sudo apt update

Step 3: Install GNOME Tweaks Tool

sudo apt install gnome-tweaks


Step 4: After Installing, Click on 'show applications' at the bottom left. Search for 'gnome tweaks,' and then click on 'Tweaks' to open it.

Step 5: Click on 'Desktop,' and then Click on Toggle next to 'Trash' to make it 'OFF.'
