ಭಾರತ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ತಂಡದ ಮಾಜಿ ನಾಯಕ ಎಂಎಸ್ ಧೋನಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯ ಪರ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಸ್ತು ತಿರುಗುವ, ಕಾವಲು ಕಾಯುವ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸದ್ಯ ಸೇನಾ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಧೋನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದ ವೇಳೆಯೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಜನರಲ್ ಬಿಪಿನ್ ರಾವತ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
MS Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team, will join the Indian Army in patrolling and guarding Kashmir. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said that Dhoni is currently undergoing military practice and does not need protection while on duty.
