After preacher Zakir Naik left Bukit Aman at 7.30pm last night, his lawyer Akberdin Abdul Kader told reporters that a new police report was lodged against Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy.

“Report is in regard to what happened yesterday, where Ramasamy again gave a press conference with the Indian media, again tarnishing and rubbishing Zakir's reputation," Akberdin said.

"In this press conference, Ramasamy accused Zakir of being venomous, a hatemonger and a fraudster."

Akberdin added that his client will be back at Bukit Aman once again at 2.30pm next Monday to record a statement on this new report.
