Good morning. Jeju has been seeing some heavy showers in recent days. Since Monday, the southern island has endured 150 to 300 millimeters of torrential rainfall. We can see these thick rain clouds that dropped the downpours moving away from the Peninsula, but more rain is forecast this afternoon.
Jeju could see another 150 millimeters through Thursday night. The rest of Korea will see 5 to 40 millimeters.
For today, we'll be under lots of cloud coverage and morning lows are starting out a touch warmer than yesterday.
Central regions will be as warm as yesterday, while southern provinces will notice a big jump in readings, Daegu at 29 degrees,... nearly 5 degrees higher than Tuesday.
As for the outlook, Seoul will receive a fair amount of rain on Thursday. After that, the lows will drop, leading to bigger differences between the highs and lows.
